Crate Diggers 1 Year Anniversary Recap

Photo: Cal Quinn

With our first year at Crate Diggers coming to a close, we felt it was only right to celebrate with a concert. This past Friday we took over the Double Wide featuring four of the many artists we have been lucky enough to interview and befriend over the last year. Daniel Rocha kicked off the night with his soulful singer-songwriter originals followed by Bravo Max bringing down the house with tunes off their latest album, "Bullfighter Blues". Next, was a bittersweet performance from our good friends at Northern National who played their last show in Dallas before heading out on tour with Blue October at the end of the month. Finally, Ty Richards was gracious enough to make a trip up from Austin to close out the night with some tracks from his debut album "Zillion" and his favorite Beatles song "Hey Bulldog".

We can't thank everyone enough who showed support to the Crate Digger's team over the past year and really helped us make a name in the Dallas music scene. A special thanks as well to all of our interns past and present, and our friends at Culture Hype for their continued support. And of course thank you to our badass photographer pal and Crate Diggers family, Cal Quinn for capturing some of the best moments from our Anniversary show.

We owe so much to our friends, family, and music community for supporting us in our efforts to continually promote the best upcoming artists and events in the Dallas music scene . Check out the photos recapping our memorable night at Double Wide!
