Valley Queen Concert Recap

Despite the 50 degree chill in the air, the Rustic lawn was crowded as usual his past Saturday night. Traveling all the way from L.A., Valley Queen set the tone for the night ith ne atchy tune after the other that had the attention of both those indoor and out.

The band enjoyed some quick back-and-forth banter with the crowd in between songs, but mostly kept the music rolling all night. Countless Rustic-goers were dancing and swaying beer in hand along to the tunes led by front woman Natalie Carol.

Valley Queen played songs from their debut Destroyer EP like “Hold On You” and lso some new material like their latest single “Chasing the Muse” in their hour and half set list. Valley Queen’s ypnotic female vocals, reminiscent of bands like Big Thief and Florence and the Machine, amplified their oots-rock and folk-laced instrumentals. lenty of energy and emotion carried he band through the cold Dallas night.

It was truly a treat to experience Valley Queen and hope they roll through Dallas again soon.
